This could stand to cellar another year or so. Big silky fruit on the front, however some residual shows up on the pallet which diminishes the integrity a bit. Love the idea of South African Pinot + Cinsault, just need to try a few different expressions before I can make up my mind on this blend.

It has a strange aftertaste on the sides of my tongues. Must be the dried rose petals. The vanillailla in it pairs well with fondued marshmallows or on their own really. It is delightfully fruit and the tannins are fab!!!

Memories were good surprise, the taste is pin pointed to the let down of water down the throat but w/a ting a fruitful flavor

A rather surprisingly tasty and complete young red. Very full aroma beginning with lush dark berries, followed by hints of vanilla, mocha and a touch of smokiness. On the palate is immediate ripe, juicy blackberry and blueberry, with a touch of tartness at the end. Followed by notes of vanilla, and a mineral finish that complements the firm tannins in this young but enjoyable pinotage.

A little spice with a mild nibble of attitude, like fresh tennis balls.

I haven't drank enough Pinotage to truly know the grape, but this is seemingly off character (in a good way, to me) profiling similar to a Sangiovese. Bright, tart cherry flavors with velvety tannins.
