Much more open on day two, with a lifted, beautiful nose of mineral, red fruit, confectionery notes, cotton candy, mid-season cherry and spice. The palate has gained elegance and expression, with remarkable tiny-berry fruit intensity, terrific purity and excellent balance. This is clearly a nervy, high-acid expression of the wine, and there are still some harder edges that need time to sand down, but the material is outstanding. Bright, energetic and beautifully delineated, with the fruit more visible today and the structure still firmly in command. 9.4 now, with clear potential for 9.5–9.6 as it develops. Was a tough customer yesterday.

Appropriate to the wineries crest, this shot an arrow straight through my heart.
The app wasn't working last night so I don't have detailed notes but it has everything I want in Pinot: structure, not only complexity but mystery, uniqueness of character and place, brightness and freshness plus depth and earthy darkness.
So sad that I only have one bottle. Maybe Mr. @Lyle Fass can get me more.
