Tasted blind. Tawny color to the rim. Mostly translucent. Great, fruit forward nose. Notes of red fruit, raspberry jam, some old wood, a little molasses and a little cassis. Soft and rewarding in the mouth. Tannins resolved. Didn't have a Wow factor, but was probably as good as it can be.

Deep red; nose of cassis, BlackBerry and cedar; plums, bberry and bcherry with some sweet tobacco and bright drying tannins in the very long finish. No need of imagination to know it is a splendid wine.
