Atlas Peak mountain is still aging at almost 9 years old. Blueberry/blackberry with minerals. Dry. Decanted for an hour.

Experimental and educational series of exploring different perspectives on winemaking theme in terroir in 2012 vintage. This number 3 is mountain Cabernet Sauvignon from Atlas Peak. Aromas of herbal like vegetable leaves, dusty like dry rocks, also fruity like tart cranberries. Unexpectedly high acid with medium tannins and the palate doesn’t develop much.

More fruity and similar to Howell Mountain- this one could age well. January 2017.
