Stag's Leap Wine Cellars
Fay Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

More earth and spice here then with other two but that is to be expected. This was the most ready of the three but still youthful like the others

1997 Fay poured in 2021. Little tannins but still enjoyable. Good fruity finish. Surprised it survived so long.

1997 still powerful and full bodied with no signs of letting up. Tannic at first, then mellowing to a well balanced palate with vibrant fruit, cedar, cassis, and eucalyptus. Super long finish. One of the best Fay’s in decades. What a treat.
