Straight honeysuckle. Reminds me of Conundrum by Caymus. Very atypical for a Napa Chardonnay. Also can't believe the '14 is out already

Lemon verbena, yellow apple and sea spray on this good Napa chardonnay. The palate has the trademark buttery notes but it's not as intense as some others I've tried, with not-overwhelming acidity and a good weight and body.

May 24th, 2016Slight lemon, vanilla, and definite oak on the nose. Big minerals and toasty oak. Well made, definitely new world Chard.
