Stags Leap Manor, as it was called in the 1920s, was known as one of the prominent country retreats in the Napa Valley at a time when resort and spa business was big. Pale lemon stone fruit and citrus aromas and toasty yeasty notes. On the palate melon, pineapple and pear, fresh & crisp with notes of oak, a bit creamy. Long finish with wet stone and mineral character, well balanced, stays crisp on ending. Nice!

Lean, super floral, soft pear and lemon. No discernible oak, unexpectedly. Medium acid, round soft body - while not particularly exciting, this is pretty crowd pleaser.
