if tasted blind I would confidently have assumed Fronsac. Bone dry and tightly wound with serious intensity. The fruit is fresh and inky, with dry baking spices. Tasted this morning, it's edges have softened and there is more flesh on the finish.

This pairs fantastically well with steak or even a bolognese pasta dish! I'm tasting again after the 2nd day and the tannins are still medium to medium+ but it's very well-balanced with the dark fruits on the palate.

Super smooth and balanced. Great for a charcuterie plate (when a strongly flavored wine would destroy ones palate). I would buy this again. However, as a drink-alone wine, I typically prefer something with a tiny bit more spunk. For the $30-$35 range, I've had better wines.
