Runner up in our 1/2/16 Altaire blind tasting. But at the end of the night it opened up so beautifully, it seemed to beat the Prisoner. Re-Tasting 6/9/16: rating affirmed. Smooth, well balanced.

Dec 25th, 2016I don't drink a lot of merlots but enjoyed this one. Had pleasant earthly tones and some dried fruit notes. Also some spice I couldn't quite identify. Would definitely drink again.
