Found this 09. Aromas of fruit and spice. Palate still shows nice full fruit flavors of cherry, blueberry and strawberry with complex spice notes of pepper and vanilla. The 2009 still packs a punch. The tannins are soft refined with good balance. The finish lingers nicely leaving some spicy notes.

Very nice little Petit Syrah shared by Allan when we were in Banff last weekend. It went extremely well with the rack of lamb and ribs we had! Good structure, nice fruit and not too jammy which was nice.
