After allowing it to breath it did open up a bit but still a little dull in the middle of the palate. Lacks the jammy front end of cheaper cabs and has a spicy finish. A little less dry and we would have rated it higher. If you like a medium sized can with a good bit of dryness you may like it better than we did.
