Classic B-flat Barolo - meaning it sings in the best key, it's easy to drink and it hits all the right notes - a crescendo of tar and tart fruit, backed by lightly percussive tannins. I got one more bottle, so I can play this tune again later.

v2009. Displays typical aromas of roses, sour cherry, soy sauce, and granite, red fruit flavors, good acid, and astringent tannins. Just a bit hot.

Seems hard to believe but this wine is just mediocre. Very harsh, brash profile that's simply not easy on the palate. If the wine was young I might say it could benefit from some aging to mellow, but it's a 2008! Wouldn't buy again.
