This natty orange wine takes me back. Not back to a wine from my past. But to being a new dad. Yup. Baby poop. Lots of it, particularly on opening. A full diaper. As it airs, the poop recedes and and there’s some very nice orchard fruit. The palate has nice fruit and is nicely structured, with decent acid and even a little tannin. Interesting Pinot Gris. Looking forward to what it will be like tomorrow.
