Unfortunately the corks came apart so we had to decant 2 bottles. Once decanted wine's initial pour and taste was tight. After it aired out a bit, the wine was a little smoother with prune and smoky tobacco and leather undertones.

Decanted for 2 hours; complex and interesting 1999 library wine. Integrated tannins, chocolate finish; truly one to savor.
