Sterling Vineyards
Vintner's Collection California Cabernet Sauvignon
Slightly fruity yet dry. Nice on the first sip. Good little bargain wine.

May 5th, 2018Smoky smell that can be a tad off-putting. Surprisingly, very fruity and sweet when first hitting the palate. Very light tannins. Light acidity. No unpleasant aftertaste. A little bit like grape juice overall. I enjoy this

Jan 5th, 2018Sterling Vineyards born in 1964 by Peter Newton, once a paper broker in England, purchased 70 acres of land in Calistoga and became a Napa Valley winemaker. Dark Red with berry fruit aromas, toasty and spice notes. On the palate, blackberry and plum flavors with smoky spice and black pepper notes. Drying tannins on medium finish, savory with a jolt of spice on the ending.
