Stolpman Vineyards
Estate Grown Santa Ynez Valley Sangiovese

Intensely perfumed with ripe cherries and an underlying minerality. Quite young but a very nice job. Another nice wine from Sashi

Enticing leather jacket aromas, with the rustic tobacco and graphite. Forward attack of cherry fruit and graphite on palate, balanced tannins that lead into a long finish. Outstanding. Best cali sangiovese I've had.

May 10th, 2014We tried and bought this on a 2014 trip. I's not as full bodied as I remember. Still nice, though. Very fruity.

Dec 30th, 2014It's always interesting coming across a Sangiovese not from Italy. Kind of a middle ground wine - not great, not bad - a bit of spice and a touch of earth. I would like to revisit this one.
