Crumbly cork and showing its 19 year. I had a bottle of the 2002 in 2017 and it was better than this one. Did not have much of a nose, came off with sweet apple notes, low acidy and nice long finish. All in all an excellent wine that needed to be drunk. Only have a few Stony Hill’s left and will be planning to drink then sooner than later.

Jul 16th, 2021Lobster night at Two Fish in Haddonfield and needed a Chardonnay but didn't seem to have any but this 15 year old Stony Hill. What a treat, did not show its age at all and very pleasant all around. Very intergraded on the nose and taste so did not show a lot of complexity but it was balanced. I believe no oak is the reason for aging so well and being great to drink. Got a couple of bottles left and will finish them off shortly.
