Nose has ripe apricot, ripe peach, guava, ripe nectarine, wet vinyl, kiln dried lumber, honeysuckle flowers and cold table salt.
Palate has over-ripe apricot, ripe tangerine, peach skin, confectioners sugar with restrained sweetness and mild acidity. Awesome wine.
Bottled under Stelvin closure, opened for slow oxidation 6H.

I have had only Riesling Eiswein, so this was an interesting wrinkle. The first element that hits the nose is a candied green bean note, but under that is apricot and honeysuckle. In the mouth, it’s almost overwhelming sweet fruit concentrate flavors that are not complex, but through piercing acidity it avoids cloyingness. As it warms and aerated, the vegetal note recedes.

Palate is just electric like Eiswein should be with an intense saffron quality. Wow what balance and poise and insane concentration. Even elegant. Powerful and structured with sappy sweetness lifted by electric acids and ultra refinement. Stunningly pure and long.
