Never been too impressed with this vintage for Panoplie before, but it seems to have opened and drinking very well right now. Enjoying it!

Heavy, over ripe, over extracted, the alcohol is so in the forefront, at least not over oaky , but its sad, I can taste the wonderful purity of the fruit if they had not Parkerized this wine so much. Flat, no freshness, kind of like a dry Mouvedre port. Maybe it will be better with a day's worth of air. I was really looking forward to this, but too much of everything.
I love their wines, but this shows whey they try too hard to make a "prestige" wine the "winemaking" took precedence over common sense.

Day 2 worse. 69 pts
I kept this wine in fridge for weeks and kept tasting every few days. Like a monolith, it stayed exactly the same, didn't even oxidize. Bizarre wine.
