A lot of ripe stone fruit (nectarine, apricot, peach) coupled with a herbaceous notes of tarragon, oak (burnt toast, butter) the palate shows notes of smoke, butter toast, charred wood) ripe stone fruit and tarragon. This wine will continue to evolve and mellow out. Currently the oak is a bit disjointed but I have hope it will get better.

Jan 8th, 2015Refreshing acidity and structure amongst some CA chards from earlier. Oak felt a little heavy handed but my expectations might have been skewed (re: Marlborough Sauv. b.).
