On opening, the nose was really interesting. Some definite barrel funk, pepper, spice, Cassis and cherry. After an hour or so the funk blew off and the fruit become more forward. An awesome palate, medium to full bodied, lots of black fruits. Amazingly long finish with plenty of tannin left to go another 5 years.

Tät mörk frukt, kärva tanniner och hög alkoholhalt. Eldig och bråkig men lägger sig fint till rödvinsbräserade oxkinder och gräddig potatis- palsternacks- och blomkålspuré.
