Early ripening Bordeaux Blend of 51% Merlot, 31% Cab Franc, 17% Cab Sauv & 1% Petit Verdot. Dark Ruby with aromas of rich berry fruits with notes of spice, herb and forest floor. On the palate flavors of ripe blackberry and cherry with cinnamon and mushroom. Soft fine tannins, rich mouthfeel well balanced with vivid acidity. Long finish ending with fruit, cedar and tobacco. Will benefit from some short term aging, Nice value!!

Had the floral perfume and greenness of cab franc but not balanced like the very nice cab francs that come off delicately. Quite a bit of pinch on the palate. Greenness came across as stemmy. Hopefully this goes away with time. 5 more bottles…

Not much to dislike here. Almost better on day 2, this is a dense bouquet. Fantastic complexity. Awesome stuff.
