Great wine. From a small volcanic island off Sicily. Dark color. Smoky charcoal embers, dark minerals, and winey macerated black cherry fruit. Mouthfilling and rich, but buoyed up by an incredible piercing mineral streak. Looong finish with excellent acidity. Blind I would have said old school Barolo. Not even close!
