Mouthfilling and rich, but buoyed up by an incredible piercing mineral streak. Looong finish with excellent acidity. Blind I would have said old school Barolo. Not even close!

Aug 21st, 2016Blackberry, black plum, black pepper and savory black cherry are off-set by a gorgeous forest floor aroma. Medium bodied, juicy and rustic, this wine is extremely versatile. It is a fantastic introduction to Sicilian wines; interesting to people who know a bit about wine but also captivating to those who aren't sure what they like. Crowd-pleasing, exotic and sensual.
