Cherry candy & a bit of oak. Still, it was great with a pasta bake at dinner

Full body, pleasant wine. Doesn't open up much.

Nose very inviting.
Needs to breath for some time - say 2 hours minimum after decanting. Would improve significantly with age. 2011 vintage.

Medium bodied. Very approachable. Food friendly acidity. Hint of spice. Red fruit dominant-plums and cherries. Very enjoyable.

Paired with pork ragu - stupendous!
