My mom asked for Chianti, there was only one on the menu and it fit the bill perfectly. Tarragon, thyme, medicinal herbs, smoke and tart cherry notes coalesce alongside a vibrant acidity linear structure. Absolutely lovely for a cozy Saturday night at the neighborhood Italian restaurant.

Well what can I say. Very average, non-descript Chianti. I’m being generous here because it was enjoyed on a lovely evening, on the patio in Palm Desert.
