Giassà Grignolino d'Asti

Very pale (but bright) garnet/copper color. Aromas of red berries/cherries, menthol and red flowers. Flavors of pomegranate, cranberry, unripe strawberry and cherry fruit. A bit of a smoky herbal quality as well. Distinct hint of black pepper on the medium-minus earthy finish. Extremely light body and thin texture with fine grained tannins. Bright acidity, light and refreshing. Best served well chilled and on a hot day.
