Ugolino Montefalco Sagrantino

Definitely the juiciest Sagrantino I've ever had, was expecting a little more slap cross the face.

Big and burly. Popped and poured at dinner. Needed a decant .... at least being opened for a few hours prior to drinking.

much gravitas.

Tannin. No, TANNIN. Maybe hints of tobacco leather and black ruby grapes. Not my thing. Maybe with greasy red meat?

Jammy with subtle tannins. Nice complement to roasted lamb lion.
