Need some big food with this one. Did a big red sauce and pasta. The syrah definitely comes through. Solid as usual. Still has some tannins. Could use a lot more decanting.

Another great bottle from the vineyard.Black pepper, cinnamon,deep and dark, with the Syrah taking control. You can have this with a big meal, or as I did alone, this is a special wine.

Very fruit forward. Balance leaning towards astringency over acidity, welcome change of pace from the lighter Italian wines. Very thick and astringent. Not super complex but well balanced (heavy body) with lasting astringency. Some coffee oak flavor.

California doesn't do red better than this. We love BamBam--served it at a May wedding. This red is a great companion as the seasons change to a delightful mouthful of flavor that reminds you why you love Cali-reds. I would have given it a 10 had I had a bigger bottle.
