Haven't been a big chianti person but wanted to start branching out. Decent wine and a little rich on the tongue, dark and deep flavors. Will try again.

Damn fine quaff. Sunday lunch roasted sausage beans onion and yes wait ........artichokes in tomato oil. Flavorful. Nice acid cut. Should have opened a magnum if I had. Might go back and get some more.

Opened it two hours early and decanted it. Made a huge difference; loosened right up. Decent table wine; soft tannins; medium bodied.
