Lodi has been producing really exciting, affordable cabs lately. The Competitor is a good example of that trend. I'm a very competitive guy, so, I was naturally drawn to this wine. The nose is extremely aromatic: cherries, raspberries and black pepper for days. The taste is just awesome---jammy and silky smooth. I love this wine.

good daily drinker. It's bold, with some nice tannins and bright, red fruit.
