Awatere Valley Sauvignon Blanc

It's new Zealand but it delivers all the flavors you want! Great as a summer afternoon porch pounder.

Citrusy NZ sav B. I find most of them have very little that separates them.

Citrus and tropical

2015 vintage. Zesty lime, passionfruit, gooseberry, honeydew melon, medium green beaniness. Good example of NZ SB.

"I want to say it's like icebergy, but it could just be because it's really cold." In all seriousness, there are citrus fruits and a nice aroma, but it has a bit of a bite in the throat at the end.

My current favorite white.

Found at Costco. Citrus and fresh it grass. There's a bit of oakiness on the back of the tongue but not as bad as usual. Would probably not seek out but not bad.

Tasted at Chef Stephen Seafood and Sav class. Purchased at Oneota Co-op in Decorah. Very light and bright sauvignon blanc
