This semi-sweet reisling is definitely full of fruit, perhaps too full. It starts with an aroma of overripened pear and pineapple; this overripeness unfortunately dominates the pallate as well. Medium-low acidity balances out the sweetness somewhat but does not provide a clean finish. The one saving grace is the extremely low price for the box. ($12.5)

The 2011 has a hint of diesel and at first we thought it was a German Reisling. We really enjoyed it.
