Extracted, saturated fruit with a heavy gloss of new French oak. Tastes like money.

From the Harlan family, this '09 still could use another 5 years to start hitting its stride. Pretty tannic upon opening. Nose was all blackberry and Cedar notes with a small spice. Great body to this wine. Earthy and herbs, coating of plums, dates and blackberry pie. Need to try this again in the future! Great possibilities!

Mar 29th, 2017Love the 2009 vintage. Sleeper year and I would take almost any 2009 over its 2007 counterpart from this point forward.

May 30th, 2015Archetypal Napa flavors with very attractive tannins. Bottle should weigh at least two pounds more than it does.
