Though this had the unfortunate experience of being consumed on the same night of the Hundred Acre, this is no slouch either. From the Harlan family, this '09 still could use another 5 years to start hitting its stride. Pretty tannic upon opening. Nose was all blackberry and Cedar notes with a small spice. Great body to this wine. Earthy and herbs, coating of plums, dates and blackberry pie. Need to try this again in the future! Great possibilities!
