Inky violet red. Jammy berries, plum, pepper and cedar on the nose. Heavy and sweet on the palate, but enough acid to keep it from being flabby. Chalky grippy tannins that fold into a great oaky plummy aftertaste. An incredible steal for $10!!

I didn't like the first taste (too sweet for my palette) but it grew on me by the 3rd. The fruit is a little too fruity too but it tastes decent. And with decent food (home cooking cauliflower) it's all good. And you remember it's $10 and it's even better! Great stuff at that price.

This is seriously a great wine!! Richly textured, not overtly loud yet reasonably acidic. A great conversational wine.
