2014v. Fresh flavors of citrus: particularly grapefruit and lime, with a little mineral roundness in the mouth from the clay limestone soil in which the grapes are grown. Crisp acidity with pronounced alcohol. Clean finish. I feel that potential food pairings are limited mostly to white fish and shellfish. Okay grocery store sancerre, but I ding the rating bc I feel that there are better value/balanced cooler climate sauv blancs for the $. 12.5% ABV.
