Starting to think that Santa Cruz Chardonnay needs just a few years and very careful oak handling. 2012 vintage more balanced than 2011. Ripe honeydew, poached apple and little pecan caramel but still fairly light and with decent acidity. Great value!

Mar 21st, 2017An unexpected score from an office gift basket. Has a lot of the excessive characteristics of California chardonnays but with enough minerality to make it compelling. A bit much without food or the next day.
