This tastes like Primitivo to me, given the VA and herbaceousness. Which makes a lot of sense, of course. Not a bad thing!

Glad we ordered a case of this fruit forward, strong on plum and cherry, still fairly tannic on the finish, could lay down a while. Not unhappy with our purchase!
