YES. Possibly the best $12 #wine I've had in some time and it's not even current vintage #Vranec. Dense aromas of brambly plums and mulberry, some brush. Palate has black raspberry, pepper, more wild black fruits. Slightly reductive. Layered. Very satisfying and complex for the price point. Opened 6/24/17

I am on my 4th bottle, not today of course. I purchased this as an experiment as Macedonian wines are rare in my part of the US. When I went back to buy more the local wine store I was told customers either loved it or hated it. I don't know how you couldn't love it for $15.

Bold and peppery. Racy and reminiscent of Zin. Dark and inky, but deceivingly so- medium bodied with fine tannins.

Despite being 5 years old, there was very little color loss around the edges.
Aroma: Lots of black currant, plum, cooked fruit, black cherry skin, with a hint of anise on the finish.
Taste: Black Cherry skin, plum, cooked fruit, blackberry skin with a slight herbaceous finish. Med+ acid. Quite a bargain.

Really good value, solid structure, not jammy or overly acidic , layered flavors. Mellowed out over a day.

Not familiar with Vranec grapes or Macedonian wines, but this is interesting and inexpensive. Nice fruit, little bit of spice and balanced.
