A lot of petrol initially on the nose along with ink, dark earth and also a strange candied smell I'm having a hard time nailing down (the alcohol is there as well). An interesting palette: Dr Pepper, bacon, vanilla, red fruit - a little strange, in all honesty, but enjoyable. Color is dark, too dark for Syrah alone, probably a bit of Petite in here.

Love the Tobin Syrah. This one did not disappoint and is ready to drink right away.
