Mmm, talk about sex appeal. These guys know how to make downright sexy Shiraz with density, power, and complexity without being cloying - even at 15.5%, it’s well hidden. The nose is wonderful, with nuances of ash and smoke, mocha and wild berries. The palate is unctuous, deep and delicious with supple black and blue fruits, but balancing acid. An iron-laden finish with red berries on the finish. Really good stuff.. still too young to properly evaluate as this has the stuffing to go for decades imo.

Spicy black berries, quite sweet fruit . There is also some herbal notes. Really quite sweet on the palate, black fruits dominate . Length is ok, acidity just about balanced. It's the sweetness that turns it unrefreshing. Tasted on the flight to Abu Dhabi.
