A blend of fruit from Barossa Valley (79%) & Eden Valley (21%), aged 18 months in 30% new French oak, deep Ruby with purple hues, aromas of dark fruits, licorice, spice, floral and tar. On the palate flavors of ripe juicy blackberry and plum with bits of smoky oak. Well balanced, great mouthfeel, soft velvet tannins, long finish ending with spice smoky oak character. Very nice!

Less juicy than most Torbrecks but tons of sweetness and tobacco, leather yet really well made. Nice glass ahead of lesser wines in Chinatown in Sydney
