A very forward sémillon in terms of acid and that Australian typical chewiness, but it still wasn't very giving from the get go. Nervy.

Forgot how seemingly delicious semillon from the hometown can be. Bright brown pear aromas e melon skin w notes of green almonds. Palate is medium bodied w Lovely mouthfeel and weight. Terrific value.

Wood and nut working well on the nose, really lovely. Funky zing from the slight phenolics and acid / tannin pairing. Not my style but it's cool. Oops. Not at Phi yen! It's the morning after!

This isn't an easygoing white. Big on alcohol (too much IMO), very prevalent aromas of yeast and bread. Which I love in Champagne, not so much in my whites. Unique for sure, but wouldn't have again.
