Woodcutter's Barossa Valley Sémillon
A very forward sémillon in terms of acid and that Australian typical chewiness, but it still wasn't very giving from the get go. Nervy.

Mar 31st, 2015Proof that classic Semillon isn't just from Hunter Valley. Lanolin, nutty aromas and flavors and seamlessly integrated alcohol.

Feb 12th, 2015Wood and nut working well on the nose, really lovely. Funky zing from the slight phenolics and acid / tannin pairing. Not my style but it's cool. Oops. Not at Phi yen! It's the morning after!

Nov 27th, 2014This isn't an easygoing white. Big on alcohol (too much IMO), very prevalent aromas of yeast and bread. Which I love in Champagne, not so much in my whites. Unique for sure, but wouldn't have again.
