Powerful Aglianico, but aged enough to smooth out all of the tannins. Strong flavors of leather and earth. Strong leather nose. This wine would be perfect with steak.

Too much vanilla! It was a fashion in 2002 but doesn't cut it today. The aglianico is lost in all the new oak.
