I'm pretty sure I'll never again bite on a Garagiste pacific NW offer. This was close to undrinkable after the previous wine from Fronsac. So sweet, short and hollow. I couldn't get through the first glass.

Deep ruby red with purple hues. Started off very tight with some leather notes. As it opened up (4 hour decant) lots of thick cassis and dark berries came through. Very sweet initially then tons of cassis and heat. Moderate to moderate plus tannins (6.5/10) with a moderate body. Needs time to integrate. Lots of heat which knocked it down a couple points.

2013 Vintage. 14.5% Alcohol. Really good Walla Walla, WA red. Good fruit and acidity and very little WAWA funk. Preferred over Cayuse for that reason. Another #garagiste deal.
