I hate that Zinfandels get a bad name. Red Zinfandel is a completely different wine. It's delicious and full and smooth. This 2011 is great with steak or dark chocolate. Either way, don't let the word "Zinfandel" make you stay away.

One of my favorite inexpensive reds. Big and earthy with good tannins. Great with steak or other meats.

At first I thought this was ok, if not unmemorable. Now I really like it. Really plump but has spice on the finish. It's pretty deep and has some teeth.
