Uncomplicated, textbook example of a well made Alsace PB. Crushable!

Mar 25th, 2017Another nice party wine. $12. Light honey, straw, peach, stones. Fresh. Fruity finish.

Jul 24th, 2016I enjoy this varietal - mostly as an Aperitif, fatter than the Italian rendition, very silky & smooth, rounder style with good acidity. Not much fruit, hint of tropical flavors, but mostly kind of stony... nice heft & structure

Oct 5th, 20172014v. My first pinot blanc from Alsace. Quite boring, esp considering the other varietals from the region. It's basically cool slate with a light, rounded body in the mouth and a hint of lemon and smoke. Really lacking fruit, though. Dry. I suppose it would be fine as a supporting role washing down some seafood or chicken. With all of this said, though, it does feel like a well made and balanced wine. 12.5% ABV.
