A little young but a nice balanced profile — 5 months ago
These are recalled impressions, not contemporaneous notes, from two nights ago, when the family council of elders met for a steak/wine pairing event at my brother Angelo’s house.
Pregaming wine. Quite a surprise, given the varietal and its age. Fresh and fruity, very fragrant but not over the top (Muscat can be a little simple and cloying at times), quite dry. Lovely — 5 months ago
Gorgeously honey-colored. Richly honey flavored too. Definitely would buy again. — 3 months ago

2022 vintage. Aromas of lemon and minerals. A well-made light bodied wine with flavors of unripe pear and lemon and crushed gravel takes over at the end. — 4 months ago
Over ripe orchard fruit, some acid, cider notes, very good with bun thit nuong. — 5 months ago

From magnum. Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 2016 Geisberg pours a straw color with medium viscosity and some tartaric acid crystals. On the nose, the wine is developing with lifted notes of tropical fruit, lemon/lime citrus, petrol, bees wax and steely minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long with racy minerality. There is so much energy in this bottle, wow! Really delicious stuff that just got better the longer the bottle was open. Drink now with patience through 2046. — 7 days ago
