On the nose, red fresh florals, violets, blackberries, black plum, blueberries, light spice & black licorice. On the palate, lean & ripe fruits of; blackberries, black plum, black raspberries, blackberries, medium pepper, nice spice, caramel, vanilla, anise, high but tamed acidity, dusty tannins and a touch of herbaceousness.

Medium bodied red, hints at mixed berries and cherry on the nose. Subtle notes of ...... not sure. Tim had one sip with licorice on the fore palate, a pleasant acid on the mid palate and It finishes with a little spice and smoke. This was a pleasant but understated sipping wine.

Jan 24th, 2019Slight frizziness, red berries with surprisingly earthy, woody notes. A little bit of that oh so pleasant vieille eglise.
