This has one of those brilliant, well polished high def née world wine noses.

Subtle fruit, yet so perfect the aroma.

A touch of salinity leads to classic Cab fruit, that hint of almond, those delicately placed petals on the palette, persimmon in the end game, with minty acidity and well focused tannin.
I’d say this wine has come together perfectly with time.

This vintage was 49% Cab Franc filled in with Merlot and Cab Sauv. Roasted cooking herbs and an incredibly complex nose. Palate was excellently balanced with refinement.

On the nose, spice, anise, blackberries, blueberries, black raspberries, plum licorice and fresh dark florals. On the palate, woody, M+ tannins, tarry notes & medium intensity spices. The fruits are ripe & juicy; blackberries, blueberries, black plum, dark cherries, leathery, dry stems, dry stones, crushed dry rocks, black licorice, tarry notes, good round acidity with a rich, ripe fruits and dry tannin finish.

Color of dark bubbly purple, looking dense. Nose of cocoa, currants, spice, sweet vanilla, a bit oak, and a bit plum. Taste of good refined tannins, tobacco leaves, blackberry, vanilla, ripe grapes, oak and cherry, smooth, silky, and mouthful. Aftertaste shows some more zesty note plus a bit metallic note. Pretty good, mellow, and everyone will enjoy her.
