Simply fantastic. Opaque in the glass, full of sweet black fruits and earthiness on the nose, and a bomb of syrupy blackberries and currants cut through with minerality and mellowed tannins on the palate. Peppery finish. The 15+% alcohol still runs a bit hot, but that does little to detract from a wine that is showing beautifully now and still may have a couple decades ahead of it!
